Royalty Soapie Awards 2018
We all know how soapies in South Africa are the most highly watched on our Television screens.
Often in many households there is that hour where families gather together and may not be disturbed at a certain hour, mostly primetime.
The 3rd Royalty Soapie Awards will take place in June 2018 at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC). Many productions will be gunning for trophies and awards to be the best in various nominees which are now open.
The official twitter page for Royalty Soapie awards took to twitter to announce the categories last week.
Well know actor Motlatsi Mafatshe known as from Isidingo expressed his unwavering excitement after hearing the news:
Kgomotso Christopher from Scandal couldn't stop singing praises to her former colleagues for the nominations and wished them well. She said:
Actress and choreographer Khabonina also expressed her excitement having been nominated under best female actress in a soapie as Nina Zamdela.
Awards are a great way of celebrating and acknowledging the performers in Mzansi for their craft, including the talent behind the scenes who work hard in the production side of things.
An sms line will be announced shortly where viewers can vote for their favourites.
